Grannies Granola

Ingredients

100g Vegan Yoghurt
2 tablespoons oats
1 tablespoon mixed seeds
(sunflower, poppy, pumpkin, sesame)
1 tablespoon of mixed nuts
1 teaspoon coconut oil
Pinch of cinnamon
Small handful of fruit

Preparation

Take a pan and put it on a stove on a medium heat. Add coconut oil, the oats, mixed seeds, nuts along with cinnamon. Stir well. Put the lid on and let it roast for 2 minutes then stir again. Turn off the heat and let it rest on the hot stove while you prepare the rest.

While it is slowly roasting chop up some fruit. Pour greek yoghurt in the middle of a plait, then add your fresh granola and the fruit.

Eat up! 🙂

The long list of health benefits is amazing. Granola is a superfood. In combination with fruit and yoghurt it is a complete meal full of vitamins, minerals, and other essential nutrients, along with fibers, sodium, potassium, zinc, phosphorus, magnesium, calcium, vitamin-E, vitamin-C, niacin, vitamin E, iron, and thiamin which will boost your health immensly.

Dietary fiber is a beneficial part of anyone’s eating habits because it regulates digestion of food. It adds bulk and weight to bowel movements, making them more solid and easier to pass along the digestive tract.

Also it prevents overeating, which makes it a good weight loss food. One serving of Grannies Granola has 289 calories. Due to the fact that it is homemade, feel free to invite friends over for breakfast, share the recipe and tell me if everyone liked it!

Love, Aya.
